Xian Lim chosen to host Miss Grand International 2017

Kapamilya actor Xian Lim was chosen to host this year’s edition of Miss Grand International.

Entertainment website Push reported that Lim will host the grand finale of Miss Grand International 2017 on October 25, to be held in Vietnam.

Xian will be hosting alongside with the Philippines bet Nicole Cordoves who ended up as first runner up in the Miss Grand International finals in the US last year.

“I’m just thankful sa Miss Grand International for getting me and Nicole Cordoves…I’m sure it would be a wonderfull experience,” said Lim whose hosting skills has been tested in four editions of Binibining Pilipinas.

Lim, aside from being an actor, is also a singer, musician and painter. Recently, he launched his first solo exhibit.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth Durado Clenci will represent the Philippines in this year’s Miss Grand International.

Clenci, 26 is half Romanian and half Filipino but grew up In Australia. She represented Mandaue, City Cebu during the pageant’s final in April. Her second shot at the Binibining Pilipinas is a charm. In 2011, she took a slot in the 15 semi-finalists with her sister Sarah.

During the Q & A in this year’s Binibining Pilipinas coronation night, Clenci was asked, “If you are caught in a heavy traffic, terribly frustrating traffic, what are the best ways to make your time productive?” 

“If I’m caught in traffic, what I usually do is read and sleep, ‘coz time is of an essence so I feel like when you’re stuck in traffic, you really need to make use of your time. So, I read or sleep or talk on the phone with a loved one.”
