Mutya ng Pilipinas 2017 finals at Resorts World Manila



30 Mutya ng Pilipinas 2017 candidates will display wit and confidence during its finals at the Newport Theater in Resorts World Manila, Pasay City.

Several pre-pageant activities like Swimsuit Competition was held at Hannah’s Beach Resort and Convention Center in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, Long Gown Competition in Alta D’ Tagaytay in Tagaytay City.

After the Swimsuit Competition, Savannah Mari Gankiewicz of Hawaii won Best in Swimsuit while Louise Lian Enumerbale of Negros Island Region was named as Most Photogenic while the Best in Resort Wear and Mutya ng Hannah’s is Jannie Loudette Alipo-on of Navotas.

Filipinos ingenuity and skills in design was showcased during the Long Gown Competition. Winners were Sandrianne Esquilona, Best in Long Gown from Tarlac with designer Rian Fernandez, Jannie Loudette Alipo-on of Navotas first Runner Up designed by Jontie Martinez, Ilene Astrid De Vera of Cebu second Runner Up wearing Roy Erwin Tizon creations.

The Regional Costume Competition was held at The Plaza of Resorts World Manila where the candidates sashayed the world-class talent of Filipino designers. Winners were designer Louis Pangilinan whose creations won for him the top prize and first runner up worn by Crystal Rosehelly Alday of Camarines Sur and Alyssa Joreen Reyes of Lemery, Batangas respectively. Another runner up prize went to Nicole Kristel Losloso whose costume was designed Jojo Alidio of Quezon.

The Talent Competition capped the preliminary judging with Darlene Mae Reyes of Singapore snatched the Best in talent Award at the Atirum Lobby of Robinson’s Place in Las Piñas City last 29 July. First Runner Up was Arrianne Deseere Viardo of Pampanga and Collen Chan of Iloilo second Runner Up.

This year’s official candidates are Darlene May Reyes, Chella Grace Falconer, Cristelle Ann Tolentino, Kristine Eiriel Nolasco, Crystal Rosehelly Alday, Pamela Bianca Villacorte, Jaila Eunice Ragindin, Jesas Wada, Arianne Deseree Viardo, Sofia Marie Sibug, Shaina Micaella Bello, Alyssa Joreen Reyes, Charlene Fontanilla, Hannah Khayle Iglesia, Abigail Jane Grigsby, Nicole Kristel Losloso, Ilene Astrid de Vera, Sandrianne Esquilona, Claire Yvonne Aznar, Savannah Mari Gankiewicz, Angela Carla Sandigan, Maxine Xanti Manalus, Louise Lian Enumerable, Stephanie Joy Pendon, Bertmari Ýr Bergmannsdottir, Colleen Chan, Jannie Loudette Alipo-on, Suzanne Perez, Rica Sey and Nicole Marie Deguilmo.

Aside from Mutya ng Pilipinas 2017 crown, three additional crowns will be handed to the rightful winners including Mutya Asia Pacific International, Mutya Tourism International, Mutya Top Model of the World, and Mutya ng Pilipinas – Overseas Communities 2017.

The reigning queens of Mutya ng Pilipinas are Ganiel Akrisha Krishnan – Mutya ng Pilipinas 2016 Asia Pacific; Justine Mae San Jose – Mutya ng Pilipinas 2016 Tourism; Michelle Thorlund – Mutya ng Pilipinas 2016 Overseas Communities; Lynette Bradford - First Runner-Up; and Ashley Nicole Singh - Second Runner-Up. 


The coronation night of the 49th edition of Mutya ng Pilipinas is on August, Friday at 7PM at Newport Theater in Resorts World Manila with delayed telecast on 7 August at 9:45AM before ASAP at ABS-CBN.
