After strenuous
activities, a Filipino-Australian candidate from Melbourne, Australia bagged
the Miss Tourism Philippines 2017 World during its finals at a hotel in Pasig
City last 30 July.
Marian Angelu
Perez Alcantara clinched the privilege to represent the Philippines in Miss
Tourism World competition overseas.
Sharla Santillan
of Palawan wins first Runner Up, Justine Ortega of Manila second Runner Up and
Jessa Jyn Almario third Runner Up.
Special awards of
Miss Tourism Philippines 2017 Universe was awarded to Tricia Estabillo Manalo
of Nueva Vizcaya.
Other winners were
princess Kristha Singh of Pasig City, Miss Tourism Philippines Luzon, Sofia
Grace Lopez Galve Miss Tourism Philippines Visayas and Ravillyn Dumdum of San
Fernando, Pampanga Miss Tourism Philippines Mindanao respectively.
Other candidates
who made it to the Top 16 were Ilocos Sur; Quirino; Puerto Galera; Puerto
Princesa; San Pedro, Laguna; San Fernando, La Union; Marinduque; and Quezon
City.
Other special
awards were Best in Festival Costume – Tricia Estabillo Manalo of Nueva
Vizcaya; Best in Swimsuit - Ravillyn Dumdum of San Fernando, Pampanga; Best in
Long Gown – Princess Kristha Singh of Pasig City; Best in Talent – Hjmaya
Nicole Ruiz of San Pedro, Laguna; and
Miss Photogenic – Sharla Santillan of Palawan.
